President Rodrigo Duterte’s net satisfaction remained “very good” for the first three months of 2018, survey results from Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed.
According to its first quarter survey, 70 percent of Filipinos were satisfied, while only 17 percent undecided, and 14 percent dissatisfied with President Duterte’s performance in the period.
The President’s net satisfaction rating stood very good in Visayas, surging 12 percent to +65 in March 2018 from +53 in December 2017.
The Filipino public’s satisfaction in Duterte remains highest in Mindanao at “excellent” +82 in March 2018, up by two points from +80 in the last quarter of 2017.
It stayed very good in Metro Manila, at +54 in March 2018, only a percent decrease from the +55 in December 2017.
Likewise, the rural net satisfaction rating of the President stayed very good, rose 2 points to +56 in March 2018 versus the +54 in December 2017.
The President’s urban net satisfaction also stayed very good, at +56 in the period.
President Duterte’s net satisfaction rating is also consistent at very good +63 in upper-to-middle class ABC in March 2018.
It also stayed very good in class D or “masa,” at +57 in March 2018, unchanged from +57 in December 2017.
