The Philippine government, through the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, the launching of an employment online portal designed to provide employment opportunities in the infrastructure sector for Filipinos who are locally based and returning overseas workers.
The “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Online Portal initially offers 11,000 job vacancies sourced from 10 contractors, DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said.
Aimed at consolidating all employment opportunities from all concessionaires and construction companies involved in the government’s flagship infrastructure program, “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Online Portal is expected to post about 100,000 job vacancies in the next few months for contractors with projects with the DPWH, Department of Transportation (DOTr), and Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
“The “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Portal will serve as a job matching platform between potential employers and employees as the government moves to complement its “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure initiatives with more job opportunities for Filipinos,” Secretary Villar said.
